by our little journal! What you'll find here is the ramblings and record keeping
of Mary and Trevor, the new owners of a 1960 GMC PD4104 (4545). Trevor and
I (Mary) decided to keep this journal for a variety of reasons, mainly to
keep detailed notes of our journey with Sweet Baby (aka The Coach - the PD4104)
so at any time, should the need arise, we can look back and figure out what
the @!$# we did. Secondly we thought it would be nice for my folks to be able
to keep tabs on what once was their RV pride and joy. They were so gracious
as to "gift" it to us now that they're RVing days have come to an
end. Now it's our pride and joy and we intend to do them and The Coach justice
by bringing her back to her original glory. A very large pet project if you
will - we are ecstatic to have something so full of personality and history
to play around with.
My folks resided on her for approximately 8 years in Redwood City, CA - prior
to that she was used as a true RV, providing transportation and shelter to
my parents, my sister, and myself throughout California starting in the late
80's. She was a second home to me then and will become a second home again
to me, now Trevor, and someday our own little rugrats.
As I write this we are in the process of bringing her up to driving status
and will be moving her up to Sacramento, CA where it's cheaper to store her.
